Creator Cup
You're in. Here's everything you need.
Twenty-eight of you are coming to a mountain course in Idaho to play golf, film it, and eat dinner together afterward. That was the whole idea, and it worked.
This page is the one place to check before you travel. Tee times, your group, what we're playing for, where to sleep if you still haven't sorted it, and how the day runs. Anything that changes between now and Friday changes here first.
If something on this page doesn't match what you were told, trust this page and then text me so I can fix it. See you at Osprey Meadows.

Golf content creators from fourteen states and one Canadian province. Some of you have played together, most of you haven't, and a few of you have been arguing on the internet for years without ever shaking hands. Friday fixes that.
Groups were built around the pairing requests you made on the registration form. Nearly every mutual request got honored. A few of you asked to play with the same person and there were only four seats, so if you didn't get your request, that's why.
How we're playing
Format
Individual stroke play, full Course Handicap, no allowance. One round, one card, low score wins. That's how this event was presented from day one and that's how the Cup gets decided.
We've thought hard about whether that's the right call, and we've landed on keeping it. But we also know not everyone is coming to grind out a number, so competing is your choice.
Tell us in the sheet whether you're in for the Cup. If you'd rather not compete, we'll work up side games inside your group instead, a two-man better ball or a group scramble depending on who opts out and where they land.
Tees
Everyone plays Blue Square. Women in the field play the forward tee.
Trophies
Low gross and low net. Both presented at dinner.
The Double Down
Ties are settled on a par 3 after the round. Closest to the pin, and if that ties, you hit again. We keep going until somebody wins it.
Tee sheet
Consecutive tee times off the first. Find your name, note your time, and be at the pro shop at least forty-five minutes before it.

Check your pairing, update your handicap, confirm if you're competing
Are you competing for the Cup?
Not everyone is here to grind out a score, and that's fine. Some of you are coming to film, meet people and enjoy a mountain course in the fall. So we're asking you to tell us which one you are.
Open the pairings sheet and put a Yes or No in the Creator Cup column next to your name. Yes means your card counts for low gross, low net and the Double Down. No means you play the round however you like.
Check your pairing, update your handicap, confirm if you're competing
While you're in there, check your handicap
The index next to your name is what you typed on the registration form. If it's wrong, or you left it blank, fix it in the sheet. We need every index correct to compute Course Handicaps, and a wrong number is the fastest way to lose a trophy you should have won.
Course Handicaps get calculated once Tamarack sends the slope and rating for both tees. You'll get yours at check-in.

Still need a room?
The group block and the discount code closed on September 17. If you haven't booked, you can still get a room, but you're booking it yourself and paying whatever rate Tamarack has available that night.
Tamarack Resort reservations

Ask about the Creator Cup rate and give them this code:
CC26The block has already released, so they are under no obligation to honor the code. Some agents will, some won't. It costs you nothing to ask, and if they say no, book at the going rate or find something in McCall, about twenty minutes down the road.
Already booked through the block? You're set. We're cross-checking the rooming list with Tamarack this week and will reach out directly if anything looks off with your reservation.
Getting there
Tamarack Resort Visit resort website
311 Village Drive, Donnelly, ID 83615
208.325.1000Main resort line. The pro shop is on the lower level of The Lodge at Osprey Meadows, facing the event lawn.
Flying
Boise Airport (BOI) is roughly two hours from the resort by car. Eleven of you are flying in.
If you need transport from the airport, call Tamarack directly and arrange it yourself. Don't route it through me, it'll be slower.
Reservations: 208.325.1000, press 1.
Driving
Most of the field is driving, a lot of you from Boise and the Treasure Valley. Highway 55 north through Cascade, then up to Donnelly.
Late September in the Idaho mountains can turn. Check the forecast the night before and give yourself extra time.
Dinner
6:30 PM, all 28 of us, one room. Dinner is on Golfers Unite. This is the part of the day that matters most, so don't skip out early to catch a flight.
We're serving a Tuscan buffet. If you told us about a dietary restriction on the registration form, we've asked the resort to prepare your meal separately and accommodate you as best they can. If you have a restriction you didn't mention, tell me before Wednesday and I'll add you.
Trophy presentation follows the meal. Stick around for it.
Filming
Most of you are here to shoot, and that's the point. Film whatever you want. We're confirming the resort's rules on drones and tripods and will post the answer here before you arrive.
Two asks. Keep pace of play in mind, because a seven-group field on a mountain course has no slack in it. And a handful of players asked not to be filmed, so check with your group on the first tee before you start rolling.
If you want anything you shoot featured by Golfers Unite, tag us and send me the link.
