Helping heroes every mile and every hole
A Stop in Kansas and an Unexpected U Turn
Another few days are in the books on the Golfers Unite Road Trip. Time for a recap!

Helping Heroes one hole and one Mile at a time
A Stop in Kansas and back to the Ozarks
We appreciate everyone following along on this epic golf road trip. We are getting closer to our goal of purchasing a veteran a vehicle! Jeff’s journey keeps getting more and more interesting…
Jeff made a quick stop in Kansas before continuing on to his next destination… but then the Ozarks called Jeff back. More specifically, Payne's Valley.
Before heading back that way, Jeff spent some time in Manhattan, Kansas where he teed it up at Colbert Hills with a few other golf content creators. For this round, they decided to put the cameras away and just enjoy the golf, the views, and the company. Jeff met some awesome people and got to experience one of Kansas’ best courses along the way.
As for the Ozarks, going back was definitely not part of the original plan. But when the opportunity to play Paynes Valley came up, there was no way he could pass it up. Thanks to our good friend Mike Hicks, Jeff was lucky enough to secure a round at the bucket list course. Mike’s ties to the Payne Stewart name run deep — he was on the bag for Payne when he won the 1999 U.S. Open. There are some truly iconic photos of the two of them together out there if you’ve never seen them before.
That’s why we knew Mike would be the perfect person to help make this happen. For so many golfers, Paynes Valley is a dream course, and Jeff getting the chance to experience it is something really special.
Keep an eye out for the next stop on the road trip, and if Jeff is rolling through your area, hit him up for a round!

🛠️ Powered by: Appreciate Your Service
This mission is powered by Jeff’s nonprofit, Appreciate Your Service, focused on closing the transportation gap that can limit opportunity and independence for veterans and first responders.
Instead of one-size-fits-all aid, Appreciate Your Service provides practical, meaningful support that keeps people moving forward—covering costs like repairs, tires, oil changes, and essential maintenance that help extend the life of a vehicle.
When a vehicle becomes unreliable or inaccessible, it can create unnecessary obstacles. AYS exists to help remove those barriers—so veterans can stay focused on work, family, and the next chapter of their journey.
This road trip represents the next step in that mission: helping place a reliable vehicle directly into the hands of a veteran who will put it to use right away.
